The sanatorium Koldingfjord was completed in 1911 as Denmark's first Christmas seal sanatorium, but already in 1909, the chief physician's residence, Louisehøj, was finished. Through its 100-year history, the elegant house has led a turbulent life, but in 2009, Louisehøj went through a careful restoration which has opened the possibility for exclusive events.

The decoration of the old chief physician's residence is in harmony with the house's 100-year history and simultaneously an expression of quality which is difficult to find anywhere else in Denmark.
